New Westminster, BC: n.p., Circa 1905. Mounted Photograph. The Adams Block on Columbia Street, New Westminster, BC., was commissioned by grocer George Adams and built by G.W. Grant in 1899 after the great fire of 1898. This image of the Adams Block dates to sometime after the great fire of 1898, but before 1908, when Westminster Trust and Hart Real Estate Co. purchased the building and incorporated it with the adjoining Masonic Block. ref. historic places ca. Photo measures 5x7 inches wide, mount measures 7x9 inches wide. Photo and mount w. inoffensive vertical and horizontal creases, photo a touch faded w. a small splash stain at lower right corner, mount w. minor edge wear and two tiny dings verso. Very Good.
