[Kootenay] Phoenix Copper Camp Report w. Map & Photos of Greenwood Smelter

Vancouver, BC: Salmo Prince Mines Ltd., Greenwood Mining Division, 1955. A two page report on legal size paper with a 9 x 12 inch map and 2 photos, both giving slightly different views (and likely later) of the remnants of the smelter at Greenwood, B.C. The 9 x 12 inch wide map is credited in lower right "L.E." and "Vancouver Map and Blue Print Co., Ltd. 11-55". The letter speaks of the recent acquisition of a 30 claim copper property located only 2 miles from the city of Greenwood, "... in the heart of the Greenwood-Phoenix copper camp", as well as the property's prospects, drilling results and the company's development plans. The report was previously stapled and there is some toning to the map. The two photos of the Greenwood smelter remnants are both gelatin silver prints and measure 8x10 and 6.5 x 4.5 inches wide, and are captioned in pencil on verso "Smelter at Greenwood" Near Fine.
