Two circa 1903 photographic stereoviews of Frank Alberta, a Rocky Mountain coal town that was leveled by a large landslide on April 29, 1903, in the Crowsnest Pass of southwestern Alberta, Canada. Both views are toned w. minor soil and stains, versos are blank. Very Good. Item #5272

We note the spectral figure of a man standing on the sidewalk, who was obviously moving while the photo was being taken, but still, perhaps, a fleeting glimpse at one of the many people lost in the slide.
