[Vintage Poster] English Iris - Tea Lautrec Litho
Tiburon, CA: Off The Wall, 1979. Designed by Ken Perry and printed by one of the legendary pressmen in the business, Levon Mosgofian owner and operator of Tea Lautrec Litho in San Francisco. Tea (Jazz Age slang for marijuana) Lautrec was the premier rock-poster printer of its day and produced a great number of now rare posters for the Rolling Stones, The Who, Pink Floyd, Paul McCartney, and the Grateful Dead. An unmounted 18 x 25 inch, offset lithograph printed onto heavy white paper stock with a single light crease to the bottom right corner - not affecting image or printing. Just About Fine. Item #4684
Some of the Tea Lautrec Litho posters are among the most coveted in rock memorabilia and include the rare Jefferson Airplane/Grateful Dead concert in Toronto. Tea Lautrec Litho's work is also held in the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
