The Minute Book consists of 200 lined and numbered pages, of which, 3-13 record the company origin and final dissolution through the sale offer of a $50,000 option to Olaus Jeldness (1856-1935) - a pioneer Norwegian miner and skier, who famously brought skiing to Rossland in the late 1890s. The balance of the pages are blank. Present at the first meeting of record were, Alexander Dick (Pres.), Hector McRae (Sec. Treas.) and C.R. Hamilton (V.P.). Other items included are a postcard captioned "Dollar Hide Trestle in the Siskiyou Range" ; a telegraph message sent May 17th, 1900 from the Albany Hotel in Oakland, concerning the disposition of two $600 payments, signed "Hector McRae, Secretary" ; a four page typed letter cc dated August 2nd, 1900, Rossland, B.C., giving the names of the partners, multiple assay results from various dump samplings from the mine and the financial statement of the company from date of incorporation November 1899 to July 1st, 1900 ; a TLS by George Trefren in Ashland, Oregon, on May 13th, 1901 to Hector McRae in "Roslin" [sp.
