The "Tom Taylor's Motor Trip Through the Canadian Rockies" guide is dated on back cover "Next Edition 1957" so likely 1956 ; the "Travel Canada First... with Husky" guide date of 1952 is inferred from the population stats. of Calgary, which are given by the guide as being "135,000". The United Nations World Population Prospects online, has Calgary's 1950 pop. as 132,000 and 1951 as 141,000. Both guides measure 9.25 inches tall, are saddle-stapled and illustrated w. photo reproductions and a map. Both have rusty staples with resultant stains and soil to covers, one has a calculation in pencil on front cover and the other an ink calculation on a blank space on centerfold map, else both are clean inside.
