Staple-bound printed card wraps, 4to (11-13/16 inches tall), pp. unpaginated (24 unnumbered pages), mostly consisting of 21 full page, captioned, B&W photo reproductions © by Gabriel Moulin and "Russell". Volume a touch toned with rubbing at spine fold, light soil and wear to covers, a brief crease and 1/4 inch closed tear at top edge of upper cover, some rust to staples at centerfold, text clean and unmarked throughout. Issued when the stock markets were in full melt down, this 1929 Banker's Conference would have had many attendees teetering near the cusp of ruin and bent on engineering "a fix". With full-cover artwork by the famous illustrator Maurice Logan and photos by the American photographer Gabriel Moulin, who was well known for his architectural and documentary photographs as well as his views of San Francisco.
