Vancouver, BC: Gowen, Sutton Co. Ltd., c. 1930's. Postcard. Three postally unused c. 1930's gelatin silver prints of Princeton, B.C. with two offering interesting aerial birds-eye views of the downtown area and one a view of Tulameen River. All three cards w. undivided backs and credited "Gowen, Sutton Co. Ltd." verso, all measuring 3-1/2 inches tall x 5-1/2 inches wide (n.b. 2 prints are 5-3/8 inches wide) and individually titled in negative "Bridge Street, Princeton, B.C." , "Tulameen River, Princeton, B.C." and "Princeton, B.C." One card w. light soil verso, else all cards fine and unmarked. Fine. Item #3816

Uncommon, early images of Princeton, B.C. with one bird's-eye view having been taken in Winter with snow on the surrounding hills and the other bird's-eye view being taken in Summer, showing low water on the Tulameen River, the Merritt-Princeton Highway bridge over the Tulemeen River, many vehicles of the day and various business signage clearly visible along the main street.
