Romanian Letterpress Concert Broadside

Romania: n.p., 1985. Romanian letterpress concert broadside, announcing the concert performances of soloist Peter Szabo and soloist Stefan Ruha playing Vivaldi, Gershwin, Dragoi and Terenyi at the Sala Casei Universitarilor [University House Hall] under the direction of Mircea Cristescu and organist Victor Dan playing Bach at the Edificiul din str. Kogalniceanu [The Edifice of Kogalniceanu]. Broadside printed in red and black inks onto thin, orange colored paper, c. 13-1/2 x 23-1/2 inches wide. Broadside with some minor creases and fold lines from mailing and a short closed tear near center with no loss. Very Good. Item #3108

This broadside was printed during Nicolae Ceausescu's repressive Communist Party rule of Romania, which was overthrown just four years later in the Romanian Revolution of December, 1989. An uncommon concert broadside with not many others likely to have survived, from what was then, a closed and restless society.
