Canadian Pacific "Complaints Book"
Canada: Canadian Pacific, 1961. Hardcover. An unusual CP item from an era when CP were struggling unsuccessfully to keep their passenger rail traffic a viable business model with the proliferation of the automobile. Cloth backed paper over boards with paste-on label to upper board, narrow folio (12-3/4 inches tall), pp. 59-300, leaves lined and numbered in blue ink at top corner of both sides. Volume has some wear, soil and stains to front cover, lacks ffep and pp. 1-58, excised prior to our acquistion quite likely because they contained complaints! Good. Item #3078
Date taken from the CP logo printed on the front cover label which was used by CP from 1960-1968 and from the printed date "6-61" in the upper right corner. Ref. Choko p. 372.
