Collection of Early 20th Century Danish State Railway Documents & Ephemera (De Danske Statsbaner)
Denmark: De Danske Statsbaner, 1912. Archive. Small primary source archive of Danish Railway documents. Consisting of S.R. Andersens' personal service records and commencing with what appears to be his release from the military in 1912, prior to his being hired by the Danish Railway as a Porter in 1914 and finally, through to his retirement as a Chief Conductor in 1954. Included are his Danish Railroad Federation membership booklets with paid stamps, personal service records and other official, signed documentary paperwork. Together, 3 printed and signed documents, 1 typed letter signed and 1 holograph letter signed on official military letterhead (all c. 1912-1944) ; 4 booklets (all c. 1912-1955) and misc. DJF stamps. Documents with expected soil, wear and tear ; booklets well cared for and intact. Very Good. Item #1860
