Also inscribed by British crime author Peter Lovesey "A gift from my friend, Priscilla Masters / Peter Lovesey." Peter Lovesey wrote the jacket blurb for this title (Masters' first mystery) and has won both the Gold Dagger and the Cartier Diamond Dagger Awards for his work. An interesting association between two well know mystery writers, one at the very beginning of their carreer, the other aproaching the end.
