Volume with some rubbing and wear, a short tear to each spine end, one leaf with a dog ear fold, occasional foxing and light soil mark. Just About Very Good. Item #1651

Front paste-down not repeated inside, giving a total of five color illustrations by Aris, a popular artist who illustrated for Beatrix Potter as a "second string ... for her new tale, The Oakmen" as her eyesight began to fail.
