Published by SRA as an aid in it's reading comprehension programs, Mountains in the Sea is an excerpt from the 1958 Golden Press Young Readers Edition of The Sea Around Us, which in turn was adapted by Anne Terry White from Rachel Carson's bestseller, The Sea Around Us. A scarce Carson item - OCLC lists only 2 copies, both in University Libraries - and very unlikely to be found in good collectible condition, given its intended juvenile audience.
