"The play was not written down, it developed out of interviews, visits, and improvisations. Most of the words used were given to us by community along with their stories. We wanted to capture the fibre of what they were and this seemed the best way to do it." Paul Thompson. Later made into a successful film by Michael Ondaatje titled The Clinton Special: A Film About The Farm Show.
