Red cloth hardcover with title stamped in gold onto top board and spine, 8vo (7-5/8 x 5-1/2), pp. xiii, 274 (pagination is the same as the more common U.S. Dodd, Mead & Co. edition), colored illustrated endpapers. Volume with spine ends and bottom corners lightly bumped, a small amount of light spotting at bottom of front board and text with edges lightly toned. DJ with edge wear and small chips at corners, fade to spine and one larger piece from top edge of jacket affecting both panels and spine. Very Good plus / Very Good. Item #683

A difficult title to find in jacket, and especially uncommon in the McClelland & Stewart Canadian edition jacket. From the GOLDEN TALES series of short stories, published in the 1930's and featuring stories by Stephen Leacock, Louis Hémon, Ralph Conner and Grey Owl. Ref.
