[DJ title "1914"] Bright blue cloth over boards, title stamped in gilt onto spine, line borders stamped in blind onto boards, 8vo (8-3/4 inches tall), pp. xiii, 413, [414]. Printed on laid paper, with errata slip and three maps as called for. Some leaves still remain unopened. In the slightly shorter Briggs DJ (Canadian issue) priced on the spine at "$6.00 NET". Volume with spine ends softened and bump to bottom corners, text lightly toned and discrete p.o. name ffep under DJ flap. DJ with front panel separated at spine, fading, stains and edge wear, shallow chips at spine ends and tape repairs verso at spine. Maps with small areas of light toning to verso, else fine. All maps now in archival sleeve inside of back pocket. Near Fine / Good plus. Item #674
