A late issue Harper Sealed Mystery, with the tissue seal still unbroken. The third in the Van der Valk series and originally published in England by Gollancz under the title Guns Before Butter in 1963, before being published by Harper in 1964. The New York Times named Question of Loyalty as one of the best 14 thrillers of 1964 and was selected by the Crime Club (England) as a second place prize winner.
