Illustrated with eight B&W photoplay scenes from the film, notable as most of the later photoplay publications featured only four. "It's important to recognize that the novelizations appearing in the 1912-1930 era often represent films 'lost' for viewing to modern historians and movie lovers. These storylines and photo illustrations comprise a significant portion of the available historical record and offer glimpses to many cultural and social events of this era." Featured by Petaja in "A GALLERY OF RARE PHOTOPLAY DUST COVERS". A very good and complete copy of this early photoplay edition. Ref. Davis - p.8, 211, Petaja - p.30,104,139.
