Blue cloth over boards, title stamped in white and blue onto upper board and spine, paste-down color illustration to upper board with double lined blue and white border, 4to (10-1/8 inches tall), unpaginated, color frontis and title page, 13 color illustrations including upper board paste-down (not repeated inside) with "AN AIR CARNIVAL" being a double-page illustration; numerous black and white illustrations throughout. Joints cracked with back strip loose but still attached at head and tail, soil to boards, ink name in "TO" and "FROM", tiny juvenile pencil drawing of an aeroplane to frontis. Good Only. Item #463
One section discusses the engines available for power at the time and shows an illustration alongside the conversation about The Gnome engine, which was available as of 1907 - so assume publication circa early 1900's. Overall a complete copy of an unusual children's title.
