Just a single copy of this scarce 1956 African prospectus found in institutional collections worldwide, that being held by the National Library of Australia. Text in French. "Kélibé-Kéliba" was issued in an edition of 300 copies with 20 illustrations - 3 being in color, and was further illustrated with horizontal and vertical bands of traditional motifs on pages without larger diagrams. Bifolium, 4to size (12.75 inches tall), pp. [4] This copy of the prospectus is signed in blue ink by Siegried Sammer and is accompanied by an original (10 x 8 inches) order form. Mauritius gained it's independence in 1968 and in 1969 “Kélibé-Kéliba” was chosen to represent the new country at the Festival of Popular Arts and Traditions of the World (now The Confolens Festival) in Confolens, France.
