A circa 1905 photo of Baker Street in Cranbrook, BC, showing the impressive Canadian Bank of Commerce, the Wentworth Hotel and the Cranbrook Herald Buildings. Photo is populated by a proud Papa carrying his camera bag, four children and 2 dogs. An early version of the Canadian flag can be seen flying from the top of one of the buildings. Gelatin silver snap shot print, 3-3/8 x 4-3/8 inches wide, photo with a short closed tear and light crease to upper right corner, minor toning verso. Very Good. Item #4034

A nice early view of an historic Cranbrook building - possibly taken shortly after having it's first sidewalk poured, as the concrete forms appear to be still in place, with an outhouse off to the left.
