Volume with a few small stains, corners and spine ends rubbed through, gilt somewhat dulled, period name in ink at top of ffep w. partial offset from same onto front pastedown, small modern owner sticker "... Banff, AB" to front pastedown, brief 1/4 inch crack at top of front hinge, terminal leaf unopened at fore-edge, booksellers tag to foot of rear pastedown (note: publisher's binder has glued the 1st rfep to rear paste-down and thus effectively making it the rear paste-down as evidenced by the old bookseller's tag affixed to it).
