Vancouver, BC: News-Advertiser Printing and Publishing Co., 1890. First Edition. Paperback. Last seen at auction in 1945, this early B.C. pamphlet is likely one of the finest copies [if not the only copy] to come to market in many years. All other copies found online (RBH & OCLC accessed 12/19) being held institutionally. Stitch-bound printed paper wraps, 8vo (8-1/2 inches tall), pp. 47, [48 - index], tables. Volume is toned and lightly soiled with some wear to edges, "42668" rubber-stamped at bottom corner beneath "Contents" statement, wraps are starting to separate at spine, a few notations in pencil to covers, else complete and clean throughout. A somewhat delicate and yet amazing survivor, especially given it's ephemeral nature and intended promotional use. Very Good. Item #3390
