Suppressed by Greene for being "... of a badness beyond the power of criticism..." with only 1018 copies of the Doran edition ever being sold (compared to the 2500 copies that were made available from the Heinemann UK printing) help to make the Doran US edition a difficult find in nice condition. Ref. Wobbe, A4b; Ahearn, 1990, p. 226.
