Suprisingly, given the times and military overtone, this volume is heavily illustrated with strong feminist ads that show women in charge in every imaginable situation. Whether having a smoke, checking the details of an insurance policy, reading the ticker tape to see where her stock portfolio is at today, selecting a motor oil for one of her cars, entering into her investment bankers office, checking a document held in her safety deposit box or even choosing a new lot on which to build a home - these gals really do it all ; and not a husband in sight. Some music-related displays for each day within the program include ; The Bugle Band : Queens' Own Rifles, The Pipe Band : 48th Regiment (Highlanders), The Pipe Band : Toronto Scottish Regiment, March Past, Musical Drill : The Royal Canadian Regiment, Musical Drive, Musical Ride, Massed Bands (17 bands participating), an Aeroplane and Harley-Davidson Display, Musical Drive and Competition, Trooping the Colour, etc. among many others.
