H-B was happier with Collins' second Canadian edition of 'Measure of the Year' than he was with their first Canadian edition "They [Collins Canada] were disgracefully slow in getting 'Measure' on the market and their edition up here is a pretty disgraceful job." R. H-B referencing the Collins first Canadian edition [pub. 1950] in 'Deep Currents'. Red paper over boards, title printed in black onto spine, 8vo (8-5/16 inches tall), pp. [i]-260. Volume with a few small stains to text block edges, ffep with pencil erasure at top and a small stain to bottom corner which also modestly affects the foot of the next few leaves. Unclipped DJ with edge wear and tear, creasing and shallow chips to spine ends and flap folds. Very Good / Good Only. Item #3087
