Full leather over boards, 16mo (5-9/16 inches tall [14.2 cm] tall), pp. [1]-108, illustrated with tables and formulae, two pages of publisher's ads at front with a paste-down leaf of publisher's ads to front pastedown. Volume covers are worn, rubbed and bumped with a vertical crease to upper cover, ffep with period name in ink and a few pencil scribbles, occasional finger soil, light toning and minor stains. Good. Ink ownership signature on ffep reads "James Forrest / Blebo Craigs / 13th June / 1838" - which is just five miles from the famous golfing town of St. Andrews.
