Moran is arguably the most famous pin-up artist of all time and often worked with many famous personalities of the day including a young Maryln Monroe, then known as Norma Jeane Mortenson. A number of similar uniformed sailor girl "SHIPSHAPE" images were done in this series by Moran, all with the same electric cobalt blue background. Uncommon when found as a full size, unmounted poster and not one of the smaller, calendar-sized formats or a modern reprint.
