A very near fine copy in the Publisher's original decorated wraps with only light wear to the cover edges and an offset inside the back cover from a once loosely inserted piece of newsprint. Most copies of the original St. Nicholas magazine containing this London short story were bound up with other issues of the magazine - without their original covers and ads. Original and complete copies of this early London story are quite scarce in this condition. Near Fine. Item #1219
